The Miracle of Metamorphosis...
The Miracle of Metamorphosis...
May 15, 2020
Even nature knows that to be the best version of ourselves, sometimes we need to change.
Covid19 has given us the time and the space to recreate our 'how' and, in some cases, our 'why'.
Determine what you can let go of.
Negotiate for yourself - your time and energy needs to matter. Where you focus, that will grow.
Look at the to-do lists you are carrying and down-size them.
Work toward quality, not quantity and work smart.
Use money wisely and use it for better outcomes.
Change is good, embrace it like a Monarch Butterfly.
Without that change there is a cessation to existence altogether.
Take Netflix and Blockbuster - both entities started at the same time. One embraced change, the other did not.
Embrace the change and you get the chance to ensure your legacy.
What really matters...
What really matters...

As we prepare for the end of Level-4 lockdown and the hopeful move to Level-3 and then 2, we need to reflect on what really matters and what positives we can take away from the global crisis and what changes are for good and for good.
Over the last 25 days or so, many sacrifices have been made, and will continue to be so.
“Sacrifice is giving up with reverence and compassion what no longer works in order to stay close to what is sacred.” –Mark Nepo
What is sacred includes your business, so decide what in that you can give up and where you can create more value for your time. This is the practise of efficiency.
Prune in order to grow.
Let's talk about HEALTH
Let's talk about HEALTH

What is health and why does it matter....?
Its Day 25 of our Covid-19 NZ Lockdown and this pandemic has really highlighted health in all forms - physical, mental and business. Without all three of those, no business will survive this or the likely global recession to come.
It is paramount that everyone takes care of their mental and physical wellbeing, and this is a practise now commonly realised by the worlds most successful business people.
Mark Bertolini, CEO of the USD 40-million healthcare company, Aetna, suffered a skiing accident in 2004. Part of his recovery was practising meditation and yoga. It had such a profound impact on his overall wellbeing that he made it freely available to each of his 35,000 employees in the States. Three years after doing so, it was found that productivity had actually increased by 69 minutes per employee, per day.
Good health matters. Take good care and reach out if you want to. Decide what makes you healthy and do those things. Choose health, because without it you have nothing. Good health = productivity in everything and the health of your business relies on it.
Business health is no different to human health. Businesses need to make it through times of illness - or threats. Dynamic planning is a health tool for business and includes forecasting, marketing and running health checks. I have a link to a business planning page that is easy to use and provides a fantastic starting platform.
Stay well, keep well and look after all your health.
